Top tier operators are warming to 5G Advanced now that the first products and services are becoming available, while simultaneously cooling to 6G. These two trends are entwined because many of the capabilities originally touted for 6G are emerging under 5G Advanced anyway, either with the current 3GPP Release 18, or one of its two successors coming over the next few years. It is worth a quick interjection, to clarify what is meant by 5G Advanced. These days, it is usually interchangeable with 5G Standalone.
