Ultra Safe Nuclear Corporation (USNC), a US based developer of fourth-generation gas-cooled nuclear reactors, Hyundai Engineering and Korean project developer SK ecoplant, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to research and develop a pink hydrogen project in the form of the Hydrogen Micro Hub (HMH) at the SK ecoplant HQ in Seoul. The HMH will operate a Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cell (SOEC) that will be supplied with zero emission electricity from USNC’s nuclear reactor.
