Singapore’s Singtel is undergoing a company-wide restructuring of its AI efforts, and has centralized all such projects in its new AI and data analytics unit (AIDA). The plan is to bypass wasteful AI pilots and reuse resources across different business units. AIDA launched in July and is moving at a rapid pace. It has a deadline of three months to outline its plans and create a “lighthouse,” or testbed, for selling some of these processes to other businesses.
