European telcos have been vocal in their calls for 6 GHz spectrum to be allocated exclusively for 6G services over recent months. Now the pressure is mounting, as the European Commission (EC) reviews its plans for 6G spectrum and will deliver a draft report on its 6G vision later this week. Telefonica and Nokia are using this moment to get their voices heard by sharing details of a 6 GHz test with a Spanish university.
