Only last week we talked about how the need to replace the current grey hydrogen industry of around 90 million metric tons per annum (MMTA) with green hydrogen will be enough to drive down costs in electrolyzers and this week we see another prime example of this trend as Galp, the Portuguese energy company, has announced significant investments in two substantial projects to reduce the carbon footprint of its Sines refinery and products with the help of green hydrogen.
