The uncertainty experienced by the US on a political level is now dripping through the cracks of a fragile sector trying to decarbonize – that being aviation. According to data reports, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) accounts for only 0.54% of the global aviation fuel consumption in 2024 and the US is not one of the leaders, unlike Europe and China.
