General Electric (GE) has published its results for 2022 showing renewables revenues, mostly from wind turbines, continuing to fall throughout the year, although with something of an uptick in the final quarter up 7%. Its start performer was aviation – so airlines are finally orders aircraft engines again. It blamed the fall off in the US Production Tax Credits for wind, but said that once it had fully digested it the Inflation Reduction Act would be a real game-changer going forwards.
