The big four Japanese motorcycle manufacturers – Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki – have received ministerial approval to form a technological research association called HySE (Hydrogen Small mobility & Engine technology) in order to develop hydrogen-powered engines for small mobility applications. South Korean company SK Ecoplant will invest in and help develop a $4.5 billion green hydrogen project in Canada that’s set to produce 360,000 tons of green ammonia per year. Topsoe plans to spend $300 million on a new electrolyzer gigafactory in the US starting with a phase one of 500 MW manufacturing capacity. The plant will have the potential to scale up to 5 GW.
