Our first thought when meeting up with Per Lindberg, the CEO of a 6 man start up in floating solar from Trondheim in Norway, was that other famous floating solar firms come from Norway, why is that? Lindberg immediately reminds us of the offshore marine industry traditions around Norway and the R&D the country has, some of it focused on solar. Lindberg hopes later this month to close a 230 NOK (Norwegian Krone – $26 million) funding round, which is quite exceptional for such a small form.
