There is almost a feeling of crisis among mobile operators over private 5G as they fail to be included in the majority of networks deployed by enterprises so far. The situation can only worsen further as other players including the Internet technology giants players get stuck in, as well as IT system providers like IBM and HPE. At the same time the infrastructure providers, especially Nokia and to an extent Huawei, are sensing blood themselves and cutting deals directly with enterprises, bypassing their operator customers.
