The rush for direct-to-device (D2D) connectivity in the UK is speeding up, as regulator Ofcom outlines its plans to amend sub-3 GHz licenses to allow for D2D connectivity, and this week VMO2 has announced an exclusive D2D deal with SpaceX’s Starlink. The race is on for which MNO will get there first for commercial services.
