It is not just in Europe that Vodafone is building up its fixed-line assets, as its mobile-only model, once its jewel, becomes an albatross in the era of quad play. The company is also reported to be targeting fixed networks in India, where it is said to have agreed an INR4bn ($60.4m) to acquire You Broadband.
