Vodafone Group’s shared operations business VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) has been on an expansion path since 2024, when it partnered with Accenture, which paid €150 million for a minority stake. VOIS has gone from an internal shared operations business to an externally-focused, commercial services unit for the telco sector and beyond. Its most recent external deal, the largest since the Accenture partnership, was with Centrica, a UK utilities firm, where VOIS will provide IT services. The Vodafone subsidiary is keen to expand its further into the utilities sector and, separate to this, expand its AI services.
