Volvo Cars has launched a new business division – called Volvo Cars Energy Solutions – focused on optimizing its vehicle-to-grid (V2G) “fleet” which it sees at 50GWh by 2035. Volvo intends on becoming an electric-only brand by 2030, enabling such significant battery deployment figures as it develops its product-base across Europe initially.
