WiFi 7 is finally delivering the performance and reliability gains that had been promised under the previous generation, but which in large part have failed to materialize. Although it made little appearance in front of house at MWC 2025, it was more apparent behind the scenes and has emerged as a beneficiary of the Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) wave, coming as an integral part of the package.
