M&A & Investments UK AI infrastructure provider, Nscale, has raised the largest Series B funding round in UK and European history, at $1.1 billion. Investors were Blue Owl Managed Funds, Dell, Fidelity Management & Research Company, G Squared, Nokia, NVIDIA, Point72 and T.Capital (Deutsche Telekom’s investment unit). Nscale is the wunderkind of the moment, having landed a central role in the UK AI infrastructure projects planned as part of a recent US-UK tech deal. The real winner is Nokia as it will also become an “Nscale preferred partner,” which means it will sell kit from its Network Infrastructure portfolio for the build-out of AI clusters.
