M&A & Investments Accelleran (Belgian) and Firecell (French) have announced a merger, aiming to create a specialist offering targeting industrial and mission-critical private 5G applications. It will retain the Firecell brand, and has a new €7.9 million round of funding behind it – tying Firecell’s 5G core into Accelleran’s RAN (and Open RAN) stack that includes RU, DU, and RIC.
