M&A, IP, Patents Bell Canada (BCE) has agreed to pay CAD 7 billion ($5 billion) to buy Ziply Fibre, a US ISP. The Canadian telco will also assume CAD 2 billion worth of debt from Ziply. The operator has a target to reach 12 million properties across North America with fiber by the end of 2028. Digi Communications has launched commercial operations in Portugal after acquiring Nowo Communications, adding to its existing fixed line services in the country.
