Finland stages Standalone 5G trial with Ericsson Finnish mobile operator Elisa has gone to Ericsson rather than the country’s own Nokia for the claimed first end-to-end 5G Standalone trial in the country. Ericsson goes further with its assertion that this is the first 5G Standalone pilot in the whole Nordic region, arguing this will enable more advanced 5G use cases for both consumer and corporate customers.
