More than half of mobile users in China are using 5G services, and the Chinese government is keen to advance the commercial adoption of 5G-Advanced (5G-A), or 5G Standalone, especially with the incorporation of AI. ZTE, the partially state-owned equipment vendor, is on message and keen to tout its 5G-A credentials.
