Sony has unveiled a new gaming platform called Project Field, which aims to bring card games to mobile devices in an interactive fashion. With its earlier launch of its mobile gaming studio ForwardWorks, it’s clear the company is pushing video games as a growth-driver. However, its choices are a little confusing, and its apparent sole focus on the Japanese market may have consigned Field to obscurity from the off.
