Brazilian aeronautic business Recominte has chosen Telit Wireless to supply the wireless M2M modules that will power its new Tracer Tag system. It will allow passengers and airlines to track luggage on the ground and in the air using a cellular connection to track GPS and GSM positions. No airlines have been announced as customers yet. An SITA report said that 21.8 million bags were delayed or lost globally in 2013, to the cost of $2 billion.
