Comcast’s home security business Xfinity Home, and smart lock maker August have revealed results from a recent smart home survey which doesn’t seem to show a huge deal of consumer enthusiasm. However, that hasn’t stopped them from somehow reaching a forecast that 30 million US households will be purchasing smart home technology in the next year.
