The USA’s National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) has published its IoT security model, in a 25-page document that aims to bring some order to the Internet of Things. However, with the increasing attack surface that IoT tech provides to other nation states, are we going to see an increasing amount of government intervention in IoT security standards and practices?
