While a police report has apparently cleared Uber of all fault following its self-driving car crash in Arizona last week, we’d like to note that the snowballing toxicity of the US ride sharing firm surely means that the days of CEO Travis Kalanick are numbered. The tarnished reputation of Uber is almost beyond repair. Adding to a spate of bad PR, a report recently emerged claiming that Kalanick entertained a group of senior employees at an escort/karaoke bar in Seoul in 2014 – lending fuel to the fire that Uber’s upper management cultured a deeply misogynistic workplace – the subject of a legal complaint.
