Texas-based start-up Phazr has taken an important step towards commercial readiness, gaining FCC and CE FCC and CE certification for its 5G millimeter wave (mmWave) base stations, which means it can sell them in the USA and Europe. Phazr claims to be the first mmWave radio provider to gain both US FCC, and European CE (Conformité Européenne), certification. These cover equipment operating in the 27.5-28.35 GHz, and the 31.8-33.4 GHz, bands.
