Black and Veach is starting a feasibility for what could be the world’s largest green hydrogen plant – Energix Energy’s 600,000 ton per year Base One facility in Ceara, Brazil. The plan would see an initial 3.4 GW of solar and onshore wind, coupled with electrolysis to produce hydrogen at a strategic deep-sea port to facilitate the country’s exports, with a footprint of 500-hecatres and a potential investment of $5.4 billion.
