One of the only major physical trade shows of the year in Europe was held this month in Amsterdam, with the hybrid reboot of the Broadband World Forum (BBWF). Like other once cable-heavy events, BBWF has evolved into an occasion welcoming mobile operators and wireless vendors of various sizes – reflecting the strong drive for fixed/wireless convergence happening in Europe.
