Verizon and Amazon launch partnership for rural and remote access Verizon has announced a collaboration with Amazon to integrate its own mobile network with the cloud giant’s Project Kuiper, which is creating a low earth orbit (LEO) satellite network. The partners will work on connectivity solutions for unserved and underserved communities. They have begun to develop technical specifications and define preliminary commercial models for US consumers and global enterprise customers in rural and remote locations.
