The Institut Photovoltaique d’Ile-de-France (IPVF) and French solar manufacturer Voltec have announced plans to build a four-terminal, silicon-perovskite tandem pilot line in 2023, calling this joint project France PV Industrie, with a 5 GW scale to be achieved come 2030. According to Voltec CEO Lucas Weiss, they are aiming for 28% efficiency, similar to the 24% to 27% claimed by Caelux in our recent interview with its CEO Scott Graybeal.
