This week we had a chat with Jonathan Bates, Managing Director of Photon Energy, a British Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector solar installer, about the situation in the solar industry. The conclusion – there’s nothing that can go wrong for energy prices, module supply, or project viability – but as the supply chain bottlenecks dissipate, there will still be two serious limits on solar development in the UK and Europe, namely skilled technicians and grid connection.
