UK fixed line operator Neos Networks has its roots in connecting UK energy suppliers in remote areas of the country. The firm is hoping to exploit this niche to play a key role in the Shared Rural Network (SRN), particularly in Scotland, according to Matt Rees, Neos’ Chief Technology and Operating Officer. The firm provides WAN, Ethernet, optical wavelength, and dark fiber services to businesses, government and mobile network operators in the UK.
