Most goods have declined in price in China over the past year. Cost declines have been especially sharp in green energy equipment raw materials, which has mostly meant the same EVs, solar panels, and wind turbines as before, just in greater quantities and at half price. One qualitative chance which cost declines could have opened up is an increase usage of carbon fiber in wind turbine blades, currently mainly made of glass fiber, with carbon fiber, which is stronger, lighter and more expensive, used only as necessary reinforcement.
