On the second day of Small Cell World Summit, a panel discussion concerning spectrum sharing highlighted a number of contentions in the sector. There is still no common global framework for sharing, both on the spectrum allocations and in the dynamic sharing regulations, meaning that vendors must take largely unique approaches for each country. This is inefficient, but complicating the sharing point is that there is also the dynamic between public macro networks and the in-building networks that are constructed by vendors of neutral host (NH) and distributed antenna systems (DAS).
