All three segments of our stock tracker are down this week, with the Operators diving more than the wider market, but the Vendors staying ahead of the curve – a reversal of the usual pattern. With the Indexes falling 1.02%, the Operators fell by a concerning 2.87%, while the Vendors slid just 0.53%. There were just 9 gains in the Vendors segment this week, with 21 losses. The best result was the 4.41% gain posted by both AMD and Arm, following encouraging news from OpenAI, regarding using the pair’s offerings in its data center strategy.
