Ericsson announced a core network partnership with Google Cloud, and a raft of OSS and BSS upgrades, at the TM Forum’s DTW Ignite event. The former highlights a new flexibility, enabled by the cloud, while the latter illustrated just how entrenched BSS can be within the MNO stack.
