M&A & Investments Verizon has been tied to a potential acquisition of Telefonica’s Movistar Chile – the last of Telefonica’s Latin American assets bar Mexico and Venezuela. This would be an unusual purchase for Verizon, but it has previously secured approval from the regulator to operate public telecommunications services in the country. HPE has announced an agreement with the US DoJ, which clears the way for its acquisition of Juniper Networks.
