Kicking off 2026 with a data dump, Patently has published its cellular and WiFi patent tracking reports, charting the hundred largest patent holders in the two markets. Noting the ongoing SEP turmoil, the relevance of these lists has become much shakier in recent quarters, as the courts that make their determinations have become somewhat unpredictable. The relative strength of the portfolio is less obvious these days.
