The central theme of MWC 2026 was that there was no central theme that the marketers collectively glommed onto. At a quieter show than usual, due to the Middle Eastern flight disruptions, 6G was no more prevalent than it was last year. After fighting through crowds watching underwhelming humanoid robot demos, our briefings conveyed a surprisingly positive industry outlook.
