Australia’s nbn (national broadband network) broke its silence this week, celebrating the milestone of one million high speed upgrades to the country’s mammoth fiber broadband access initiative – in another attempt to reassure the country all is well as CEO Bill Morrow prepares to vacate his position before year end. nbn has now connected 3.7m homes and businesses, from a reach of 6.5m premises, claiming the project is on track to connect 8m by the end of 2020.
