HPE committed $14 billion to buy Juniper Networks at the beginning of the year. The incentive behind the acquisition was Juniper’s expertise in AI, and particularly its AI Mist products. This week, Juniper recorded weak overall first quarter earnings, but a double-digit growth in demand for its Mist AI products. Though the company’s overall sales may be falling, Juniper is putting a lot of energy into improving and marketing its AI offering.
