The question of how to allocate the 6 GHz band between licensed and unlicensed usage is a fraught one. French communications regulator Arcep recently published a report it had commissioned, hoping to answer this question, carried out by Analysys Mason. Instead, the findings have been criticized by the Arcep advisory committee, for failing to properly model the relationship with WiFi. This is not a great look for the analyst house.
