AT&T and Verizon have announced that they will postpone commercial launch of services in their C-band (3.7 GHz) spectrum for one month, until January 5, to enable the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to review concerns about potential interference with aircraft systems. However, the aviation industry says more time will be needed, while any prolonged delay could turn Dish into a spectrum kingmaker again.
