AT&T’s CEO Ralph de la Vega has said that it will license its Digital Life home automation platform. He said at CES that the company has been approached by international operators about licensing the service, “which of course we are planning to do.” Digital Life is now available in 59 US markets since its launch last April, beating the company’s target of 50. The system works around a central hub that communicates via Ethernet, Wifi and Z-Wave. Designed primarily for home security, the hub handles the external devices that users choose to connect to their network.
