Automotive Electrification starts 2020 with lots of whimpers, not a bang

The electrification of the automotive product lines, and more importantly the supporting infrastructure needed to support this in the utility, smart building, and smart city markets, is going to be a slow process. However, at the start of this new decade, a swathe of announcements show that the snowball that will start the avalanche is beginning to roll. The infrastructure is going to require significant upheaval, as well as all manner of integrations with cloud platforms and business applications, and this is a great opportunity for all those in the IoT business.
