For the past month or so, in the wake of disappointing sales figures for its new Priv handset, there have been widespread rumors that BlackBerry would be killing off its smartphone business and focusing on its software portfolio. But an interview this week confirms that the company is planning on launching two new mid-range handsets, likely in response to Apple’s $400 iPhone SE.
