Bloxtel is a US start-up with a 5G ‘private network-in-a-box’ product that targets warehousing and logistics companies. However, the goals of the project are much loftier than this, and aim to cross continents and wireless generations into 6G. The concept uses affordable, general-purpose hardware that is modified to create a 5G network that uses a blockchain-based system for network authentication. The goal is a 5G network with the accessibility of a WiFi router.
