China’s solar module exports in the past three years grew from 89 GW in 2021 to 155 GW in 2022, to 208 GW in 2023, per Infolink’s extrapolation of China’s customs data (which provides number of units and yuan value, but not wattage). Out of those totals, the largest destination region was the EU, which started at 38 GW in 2021, then grew to 87 GW and 101 GW in 2022 and 2023, far outpacing installations.
