Chinese equipment providers won 116 GWh of orders for energy storage batteries in the first ten months of the year, according to the Energy Storage Application Branch of the China Industrial Association of Power Sources, which implies over 140 GWh for the full year. Within the 116 GWh figure is 68.5 GWh of energy storage batteries and 44 GWh of complete energy storage systems. If we take the 140 GWh of extrapolated full-year exports and add 70 GWh within China itself, we get to 210 GWh.
