In China this week the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Board have jointly put out a paper for a one month comment period on taking Chinese grid energy storage capacity to 30 GW by 2025. It looks like the pieces are being put into place to attract the major lithium ion battery suppliers into the business, by making it financially worthwhile.
